My Eyes Tell A Story
What my eyes see you'll never know,
but I'll give you a taste.
Let's see if you can follow along...
I look out at the world like a movie,
My eyes are the lens that I see through
My movie plays different songs
Some are hype, slow, sad, smooth, or long
But each song plays w/a message
Some you hear right away
Others you have to listen to a little closer
And find them in their hidden space
My eyes show what I see and feel
You can't tell unless you look at me
They tell things you may not want to know
But either way, they find a way to show
They don't tell you lies, only truths
Because the lies they see,
Are easy to look past through
Take a look at me
What do you see?
Look closely, what you think you see
is really not me
I tell you all you need to know
You may say, "No, you don't."
But see, your just looking AT me
Try looking FOR me
When you find me
My eyes will tell you a story.
